Job Summary –

Responsible for Windows (PC) Application Development of Rosemount Level Measurement Products. This position includes design and architecture of software features, working with designers and product managers to understand the features, and implementation of both the client-side (front-end) and server-side (back-end)

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Capture & Develop Software Requirements
• Prepare Software Design and Architecture for projects
• Develop high level and low-level design for assigned projects
• Liaison with User Experience designers for frontend development
• Participate & Contribute to Code Reviews
• Develop and Unit Test of Applications
• Collaborate and coordinate with developers, testers, and product owners
• Focused on continuous improvement of quality-driven software techniques and Process
• Participate & present in project reviews
• Willingness to work flexible hours that works best with the local and remote engineering

Who You Are:

• B.E/B. Tech or M. Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology or Electronics
• Should have minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in Software Design, Development & Maintenance

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Should have minimum 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in C++ using MFC/ STL, ATL
• Excellent knowledge in Windows operating systems, Windows Setup, Network setup
• Working Knowledge of SQL or SQLite Database and Stored procedures
• Experience in Developing UI and Server Applications for Microsoft Windows Server
• Experience in Developing setup projects using InstallShield or similar
• Should have knowledge to design and develop multi-layer, cross platform applications using design patterns
• Must Have Experience in Working with Overseas teams in different time zones

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Working Knowledge on Communication Protocol development like OPC DA or UA, COM / DCOM or Modbus
• Experience in Cyber Security Verification tools, e.g., CIS-CAT Pro
• Experience in Developing Applications using TCP/IP Socket Programming, Serial Communications
• Experience in Dot Net technology like C, C#.Net
• Experience using Azure DevOps for planning & CI/CD environment
