THIS POSITION REPORTS TO

Operations Manager

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be a design authority for an engineering discipline. Each day, you will complete assignments on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring assignments are completed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards. The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite Global relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position. This role is contributing to the Process Automation Process Industries Mining Projects in North America. You will be mainly accountable for: • Working with the customer to shape and deliver solutions while seeking customer feedback to drive and deliver improvements. • Creating work plans and cost estimates for the portfolio of projects and ensuring quality, timely implementation within the targeted cost. • Coordinating with relevant functions to ensure the designs are appropriately manufactured / staged, tested, installed, and commissioned. • Coaching engineering colleagues on the translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, best practices, and lessons learned from past projects.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

• You have advanced knowledge with MV and LV design.
• You possess good familiarity with substation equipment (MV and LV MCCs, SWGRs, VFD, Power Transformers, UPS, Battery & charger systems, Capacitor banks,etc.).
• You have knowledge of Ducts, Conduit, Cable tray systems design, Cable sizing, Lighting, Grounding, Lightning systems.
• You are familiar with North America Standards.
• It will be an asset if you have experience with: E-house design, commissioning MV and LV equipment, trolley assist system in Mining, software such DigSilent or ETAP
• It will be considered a plus if you have: IEC standards familiarity, electrical studies experience.
• You are at ease communicating in English in an advanced level.
• You have a bachelor’s degree in engineering completed.
