Our client is building one of the world’s first fossil-free steel plants—reducing CO₂ emissions by up to 95% compared to traditional steelmaking methods. POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking aSenior Electrical & Instrumentation DRI (Designated Responsible Individual)to join the on-site construction and commissioning team. You will play a critical role in ensuring that E&I installations are carried out according to SwedishElsäkerhetregulations, project design documents, and the highest quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct inspections ofelectrical and instrumentation installationsto ensure compliance with Swedish regulations and project specifications.
• PerformQA/QC checksthroughout installation and commissioning phases.
• Review contractor deliverables and verify documentation against safety codes and industry best practices.
• Support commissioning and testing activities of E&I systems.
• Liaise with construction, commissioning, and subcontracting teams to ensure quality and schedule alignment.
• Generate detailed inspection reports and issuenon-conformance reports (NCRs)as needed.
• Maintain fulltraceability of installed equipmentand ensure all documentation is up to date.
• Promote and contribute to ongoing improvement of installation and quality procedures.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

• Valid Swedish electrical qualificationper Elsäkerhet regulations.
• Proven track record inlarge-scale industrial constructionprojects (e.g., energy, chemical, or manufacturing sectors).
• Strong foundation inE&I quality control and inspections.

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Background insteel millorheavy process industrysettings.
• Knowledge ofindustrial automation and control systems.
• Familiarity withinstrumentation installation, loop checks, and calibration.
• High voltage (HV) certification and practical experience in HV systems.
• Proficiency withMS Exceland Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent documentation and reporting capabilities.
