This Position reports to:

Operations Manager – BL Excitation(AMEA)

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact. Join us as Commissioning Engineer and you will have the opportunity to act as commissioning lead for projects with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will ensure completion of all commissioning activities efficiently and cost-effectively in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting continuous improvement of project process/product/system design.

• Supporting and coordinating the installation/commissioning activities and related on- site activities focused on finalizing customer acceptance certification.
• Creating work plans and cost estimates to meet contractual obligations.
• Initiating and monitoring risk mitigation plans and ensuring stakeholders are updated on associated technical risks.
• Managing external organizations to ensure the availability of commissioning equipment, systems, or services.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

• You are highly skilled in working with ABB Excitation systems (UNITROL and SYNCHROTACT family) and the engineering/commissioning market.
• You have over 5 years of experience in engineering and commissioning of small, medium, and large ABB Excitation systems.
• Possess an enhanced knowledge of ABB Excitation system commissioning.
• You are passionate about a collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Degree in / Have a demonstrated track record in / Extensive knowledge of / Proven experience of {insert specific degree, qualification}in {insert subject}
• You are at ease communicating in English.
