Job Description

Wood is recruiting for a Senior E&I Commissioning Engineer to join our team in Perth, WA. This is a permanent role to join our expanding Oil and Gas Operations team, due to the recently securing several large projects with existing long-term clients, in addition to a new and significant brownfields engineering opportunity with a major player in the LNG industry.
Wood “Operations” delivers Brownfield’s engineering, procurement, construction, optimization and technical services to the Energy industry. Responsibilities

You will be reporting to the Lead Construction & Commissioning Engineer. To be successful in your role, you will have prior commissioning experience in both Onshore and Offshore LNG within an EPCM engineering environment.Your responsibilities will be:Accountable for the safe and timely preparation and execution of the project Electrical & Instrument commissioning work scope in adherence with project HSEQ safety targets, procedures and practicesAccountable for developing the project electrical commissioning strategy and approving electrical commissioning procedures – ensure compliance with project standards, specifications and proceduresAccountable for ensuring electrical commissioning is carried out in accordance with project schedules and budgetActively participate in all company and project safety initiativesTo process safe completion of designated electrical commissioning activities in line with the project schedule and milestones in a consistent and timely mannerTo assist in maintenance of the project budget through diligence and utilization of efficient and working practicesLiaise with the electrical engineering office to ensure that the electrical fabrication drawings are produced in line with commissioning requirementsAudit site / project electrical activities on a regular basis to ensure all compliance with project safety, environmental, and quality requirements Monitor and report electrical commissioning progress on a regular basisEnsure a safe Electrical Permit to Work and isolation system is in place and adhered toAt Wood, we look for innovative ideas and an agile approach to deliver the best possible outcomes and offer you an opportunity to progress and thrive by working collectively and making an active contribution.

Qualifications
