Senior Advanced Systems Engineer

As a Senior Advanced Systems Engineer – SatCom here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and implementation of advanced satellite communication systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives. Your expertise in satellite communication systems will be instrumental in driving innovation and technical excellence within the organization.

You will report directly to our Systems Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Kanata, ON location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the development of cutting-edge satellite communication systems that enable seamless connectivity and data transmission across various industries. You will contribute to the advancement of technology and play a key role in shaping the future of satellite communication. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the design and development of advanced satellite communication systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables
• Drive innovation and technical excellence within the organization
• Ensure seamless integration of satellite communication systems with overall project objectives
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
• Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time.

The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP clearance.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in avionics or communication systems engineering
