Your role and responsibilities

The ABB Machine Automation Division, also known to our clients asB&R, is an innovative automation company headquartered in Austria with additional offices around the world. B&R became part of ABB’sRobotics and Discrete Automation Divisionin 2017 and, together with ABB Robotics, employs over 11,000 people in more than 100 locations across over 53 countries.

As a leading global provider of automation solutions, B&R develops, manufactures, and sells industrial electronics, software, and mechatronic solutions, as well as machine and factory automation technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for developing sales and building the brand for OEM customers – machine manufacturers – in the designated region.

(The office’s area of responsibility includes the following voivodeships: Małopolskie, Świętokrzyskie, Śląskie, Podkarpackie, Opolskie.)

The work model for the role is: hybrid

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Building and maintaining long-term relationships with existing customers
• Acquiring new customers for cooperation
• Providing comprehensive technical consulting and selecting individual products and solutions for clients
• Conducting sales presentations, preparing offers, and leading negotiations
• Collaborating with other departments, especially the order and marketing departments

Qualifications for the role

• University degree in industrial automation or a related field (electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics)
• Technical knowledge in control systems automation
• Minimum 2 years of experience in automation sales to machine manufacturers or industrial plants and/or experience in sales related to control system integration and/or similar customer-facing roles
• Knowledge of sales techniques, presentation, and negotiation skills – a plus
• Experience working with CRM customer management systems
• Good communication skills in English; Polish – native or fluent
• Category B driving license
