Documentation Controller:

The Sales Engineer is passionate about delivering sales targets for Emerson’s Measurement Solutions portfolio within assigned territory by identifying customer challenges and addressing them optimally. They are the guardian of the customer relationship, orchestrating the development of corporate-wide resources to provide comprehensive product, service, and solutions to the customer base. They own the B2B Alignment of the Customer Management Team and the Measurement Solution Team.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Meet or Exceed Annual business goals and targets for the given customer accounts.
• Establish and develop high-level positive relationships with key leaders and at all levels within the Product and Account Portfolio named.
• Leverage existing and develop new relationships with decision-makers to efficiently position Instrumentation products as No Equal or the preferred supplier of Technology, Products, Services and Solutions.
• Drive opportunities throughout the accounts covered by acting as “trusted advisor” to customers by
• offering solutions to customer problems.
• Driving ICE/solution selling approach, assess and understand customer requirements, applications and pains. Suggest appropriate technical and product solutions and to best meet customer requirements.
• Perform Site Surveys (Site Walks) to generate KOB3 opportunities.
• Analyze and develop plans to drive competitive displacements
• Prepare and present growth plans, forecasts, pricing surveys, and competitor intelligence.
• Work closely with other Emerson Automation Solutions Divisions and improve pull-through content.
• Ensure Business Unit plans, and key initiatives are consistent with account plans and are implemented in a
• timely professional manner. Assimilate BU personnel’s support as and when needed to support the key sites.
• Develop a true business partnership with the assigned customers.
• Keep up to date with developments in products, industries, and market trends.
• Ensure Emerson Ethics and trade compliance procedures are rigorously followed with all business transactions
• Fulfil any other reasonable duties as required

• BA or BS degree in Engineering
• 3 to 5 years of experience
• Strong communication

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Educated to degree level in an engineering field
• 6 – 8 years of Sales experience, preferably in Field Instruments
