Sales Engineer

We are looking for a customer-oriented Sales Engineer to join our outstanding team in Switzerland! You will be an integral part of the Branson business unit and your main goal will be to offer innovative technical welding solutions adapted to customer needs in plastic, metal or textile assembly via our machines and equipment. The focus area will be the German part of Switzerland and you will ideally be based around Bern/Fribourg/Lausanne.

In this role, your main responsibilities will be:

• Develop new business opportunities.
• Follow-up with existing customers, maintain the relationships and grow the account.
• Schedule and attend client visits.
• Prepare and create customized price offer with technical and sales support from your colleagues.
• Keep CPQ/CRM server updates and create regular reports.
• Tackle applications with or without technical service support.
• Provide technical assistance to customers.
• Define, coordinate and participate in Swiss exhibitions or trade shows ton engage with potential customer.

You readily action new challenges, without unnecessary planning and you build and deliver solutions that meet customer expectations.

For this role, you will need:

• An engineering degree.
• Proven experience in mechanical engineering.
• A strong background in sales, with a particular focus on developing meaningful customer relationships.
• Proficiency in German and English.
• Excellent communications and presentation skills.

Preferred qualifications that set you apart:

• Experience withing a multinational, matrix organization.
• Having a background in plastic would be a meaningful advantage.
• Proficiency in French is plus.
