YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will be working as Reliability Engineer and will be part of Motion Business Area for System Drives Division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to R&D Local Unit Lead and will be responsible for resolving the critical customer cases and assisting Channel partners in critical commissioning cases The work model for the role is: #LI- Onsite This role is contributing to the Motion Business for System Drive Division in Nelamangala- Bangalore India You will be responsible for : In depth knowledge of ABB LV Drives commissioning knowledge. Ownership of critical customer cases of MOSD (Motion System Drives) products. Supporting channel partners in critical commissioning and site issues. Customer case resolution for the locally manufactured global product which may include site visits. Discussion with service and technical support team to solve field issues in product of responsibility Provide support for smooth commissioning of complex projects Supporting Engineering in drawing preparation according to customer requirement for complex projects Collaboration with other PE (Product Engineering after sales) units & CoE (Center of Excellence) in MOSD(Motion System Drives). HSE responsibility for areas under own control

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

• Diploma / bachelor’s degree in Power Electronics Engineering
• 3 to 5 years of experience in the area of ABB Drives commissioning and servicing is must. Out of these 2 years must be of New series drives e.g. ACS880 / ACS880 MultiDrive.
• Fair knowledge of drive application like CRM / HSM / Wagon tippler etc
• Knowledge of the PLC commissioning will be an advantage
• High sense of responsibility and commitment, ability to apply a systematic approach to solve problem
• Effective communicator and self-driven personality are preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in Commissioning / services of ABB / Channel partner will be an advantage
• Experience in commissioning of Steel mill / cement mill drives will be an advantage
• Experience in other drive companies commissioning (Siemens / Allen Bradely / Danfoss / Fuji / Mitsubishi / Hitachi-Hirel) will be an advantage
