As a Quality Calibration and Metrology Engineer you will be responsible for Calibration Facility and process from a technical and process perspective; must maintain certification and accreditation to ensure the quality
of flow and density meter calibration, strict implementation of standards and Emerson procedures is
required. The CE/CQE is the Subject Matter Expert in calibration methodologies and flow meter
performance, provides direction to the organization about efficiency of calibration processes and
strategies, and provides flow and density calibration engineering expertise to develop, monitor,
support, and continuously improve Calibration systems.
The Quality Calibration and Metrology Engineer is a key technical role responsible for the implementation and stabilization of all calibration processes.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
• Leadingall developments of the Calibration Facility to ensure all certifications are covered for product calibration.
• Leading certification and accreditation processes for ISO17025, MID (Measurement Instrument Directive) and VSL.
• Leading Gold Meter test plan, including issuing corrective actions where needed and driving these to closure.
• Leading and developing CMC (Calibration Measurement Capabilities) calculation tables, define uncertainty budget and communicate results to the stakeholders and accreditation bodies.
• Developing, maintaining, and reporting quality related calibration metrics (Calibration Yield, Gold Meter Yield and Performance, ISO 17025, MID, etc.).
• Developing Calibrator training and qualification programs.
• Ensuring that calibration personnel are well trained for different calibrations, and are consistently using accurate methods for daily calibration, with effective responding/troubleshooting system in case of non-conformances; providing them leadership on the technical aspects of calibration.
• Leading efforts to resolve calibration-related quality issues.
• Leading continuous improvement projects with respect to calibration by using statistical process control techniques.
• Ensuring effective coordination with other worldwide locations regarding calibration processes.
• Support with customer calibration witnesses and calibration or sensor performance related Support Requests (customer complaints).

For This Role, You Will Need:
• Proficient English language skills; verbal, reading and writing.
• Master Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline (or recognized equivalent).
• Minimum of three years’ confirmed experience in engineering/quality in a production environment.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
• Knowledge of Flow Dynamics preferred.
• Knowledge of machining, mechanical assembly, electronics assembly and testing.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM.
• Knowledge of Control programming and PLC.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes in the area of responsibility.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant standards (ISO17025, 10790, 9001, MID etc.)
• Knowledge of SPC (Statistical Process control) techniques and software (JMP, Minitab etc)
• Knowledge of Quality tools (Ishikawa, Design of Experiment – DOE etc.)
