Position Mission:

ABB is looking for aProject Technician – Mid-Levelto join ourProcess Automationteam in theEnergy Industriesdivision in Brazil. If you have experience with operating systems, Ethernet networks, and industrial automation, and are ready to take on field challenges and high-complexity projects, this opportunity is for you!

Responsibilities:

• Install and configure Windows operating systems on servers and workstations
• Configure Ethernet networks, switches, routers, and firewalls
• Install and configure automation platforms such as ABB 800xA
• Participate in commissioning and start-up of automation systems in the field
• Support engineering and application teams in developing technical solutions

Requirements:

• Technical education in Information Technology or Automation-related fields
• Experience with Windows operating system configuration and Ethernet networks
• Knowledge of virtualized environments (VMware)
• Intermediate English (reading and writing)
• Availability for frequent travel across the country and a valid category B driver’s license

Differentials:

• Knowledge of industrial automation systems, DCS, and PLC
• Experience with hardware and server maintenance
• Familiarity with FAT testing and technical training for clients
