Job Description:
TheProject ManagerforCorrugated Finishing Equipmentwill be responsible for providing project management discipline for ourLine Integration Controllersoftware. This role performs project execution and client coordination across the company to include activities such as leadership of the project resources including external equipment vendors, budgeting, forecasting, project scheduling, engineering, integration, installation, start-up and project closure. The Project Manager is a single source of coordination for both internal and external stakeholders.
About theLine Integration Controller (LIC): LIC is a software product that integrates multiple line level processes across each machine on a box finishing line. Execution of an LIC project will require planning and coordination across multiple stakeholder groups including BWP customers, finishing OEM suppliers, and our own operations, engineer, and service team members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensuring project scope, deliverables and schedule are clearly defined and agreed to prior to project execution.
• Communicating with stakeholders and project leaders to keep projects aligned with business goals.
• Creating project schedules with team input to define tasks, resources, establishing milestones, and adhering to deadlines for each project.
• Create the appropriate Gantt charts within project management tools to show critical path, dependencies, and ensuring enough float is in the schedule to hit target dates with high quality and confidence.
• Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy.
• Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected.
• Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options to drive forward progress for the project.
Education and Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree, Engineering preferred
• 5 + years of experience in project management, preferably in a technical or manufacturing environment
• Proven ability to manage complex projects independently
• Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills
• Expected travel is 20-40%
The approximate pay range for this positionis $100,000-$130,000annually. Please note that the pay range is a good-faith estimate at the time of posting and may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, and geographic location.
