Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a well-established organisation with strong staff retention and long-term career opportunities. This is a permanent role due to an internal promotion, offering the chance to take the lead in managing high-impact projects within the oil & gas, chemical, petrochemical, water, and energy transition sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all project engineering activities, ensuring compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and agreed deadlines.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing engineering team, promoting collaboration, continuous improvement, and cross-functional teamwork.
• Manage resource allocation, prioritisation, and workload to achieve optimal performance and timely project delivery.
• Provide technical and leadership guidance to resolve engineering issues efficiently.
• Ensure designs and deliverables meet customer expectations and internal stakeholder requirements, maintaining a focus on quality and client satisfaction.
• Monitor and manage project milestones, tasks, and actions using project management tools.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure accountability and alignment with business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of relevant engineering experience in a project or industrial setting.
• Chartered Engineer status preferred.
• Proven experience leading project engineering teams within construction, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of relevant industry regulations, standards, and safety protocols.
• Track record of delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines.
• Proactive approach with a focus on achieving successful project execution and clear performance reporting.
