Job Description:

As the Project Manager you will oversee customer orders, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of project deliverables. This role is pivotal in achieving profit, time, quality, and customer satisfaction objectives. As the first point of contact for assigned customer orders, you will manage all aspects of a project from order acceptance through installation. You will also engagement in company events, training, education, and Lean Manufacturing practices.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Sales, Applications, and external customers to confirm project specifics. Lead projects post-financial and technical approval, conducting regular progress reviews.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation and stakeholder agreement (Sales, Finance, Procurement, Logistics, Operations) for all projects.
• Resolve or assist in resolving conflicts within and between projects or functional groups.
• Conduct risk assessments and contingency planning, communicate and act on plans to keep projects on track or accelerate if necessary.
• Lead cross-functional teams in the fulfillment process of customer orders, conducting regular project team meetings.
• Manage project scope, change orders, budget, margin, and financial estimates.
• Oversee 3rd party scheduling deliverables with team members and customers as needed.
• Evaluate project performance and recommend improvements or recognition opportunities.
• Provide weekly (or more frequent) project status updates, maintain project schedules, and participate in Mission Control Room and production meetings.
• Host customer visits for project planning and acceptance testing.
• Document scheduled milestones as developed by the order fulfillment team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams and providing strategic direction within a manufacturing operation.
