Senior Project Manager

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will have the opportunity to coordinate assigned aspects of a project. Each day, you will support in managing and executing the project by completing work packages as assigned. You will also showcase your expertise by defining and applying basic project planning techniques on ongoing projects and driving the updating process.You will be mainly accountable for:

• Design and documentation of control systems (PLCs and control systems) and operating elements in the field of energy industries (power plants, oil & gas and process industries) as well as associated low-voltage and medium-voltage systems, protection and excitation devices • Design of field instrumentation, mechanical construction parts and cable systems. • Installation supervision and commissioning as well as independent inspection of production and assembly • Assist project managers with technical reviews and discussions with customers, partners, subcontractors and suppliers, and by providing technical recommendations for successful compliance and delivery of project deliverables in terms of time, budget, quality and safety guidelines • Responsibility for technical complaints, customer specifications and safety standards. • Customer support in solving technical problems both remotely and at customer locations, often in the west of Austria and in other locations such as Bulgaria, Luxembourg or Canada. • High willingness to travel • Maintain and improve customer satisfaction through outstanding customer service at all stages of the project

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

• Completed technical training (HTL/FH/TU) or electrical engineering apprenticeship/technical college with 5 years of professional experience.
• Good general IT skills: MS Office, AutoCad, ECAD systems (such as EPlan, ECSCad, Comos PT,…), SAP
• Strong focus on safe working practices and commitment to compliance with all relevant safety guidelines in the workplace
• Very high level of self-motivation, interest in new things and the desire to acquire new technologies
• A team-oriented, solution-oriented way of working as well as very good written and verbal communication skills
• Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
