THIS POSITION REPORTS TO

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You will develop and adapt complex power electronic products to customer requirements in an interdisciplinary team. The products are inverter and converter for sub-networks and motor drive systems for Low Voltage applications up to 1000V AC / 1500DC You will be responsible for adapting existing products and electrical components to the respective project requirements Your engagement will be in the complete life cycle of the products like requirement engineering, technical specifications, design and development activities, requirement verification internally and with the customer as well as provide product documentation and control of the external production You will conduct commissioning and support the fulfilment of required quality for the products You will consult the customer for their best technical solution and train product users

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

• Degree in electrical or power electronics engineering
• You have very good expertise in development of power electronics applications
• You gained already experience in developing concepts, designing and choosing components and creating documentation for complex power electronics products
• You have gained experience in PLC programming with ABB Automation Builder or embedded systems in C/C++, as well as simulation in MATLAB Simulink or LT Spice would be an advantage
• Security clearance ü2 is an advantage
• A pro-active attitude, a systematic and result oriented method of operation complete your profile
• You are able to communicate fluently in English with your team members, customers and sub-suppliers and you are acting as team player
• Willingness to travel (ca. 20%)
