Job Summary:

As a Project Engineer Intern (Masters Degree Graduate) at Honeywell, in Varkaus, you will be responsible for supporting implementation of standard engineering solutions & projects to successful completion within budgeted time, cost constraints, and in line with objectives including continuous improvement of margin, customer satisfaction, schedule, working capital and safety performance.

This role is part of our University Relations program, designed to help students and recent graduates launch their careers with hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for growth within Honeywell.

This internship is set up for 12 months, starting from early 2025, with a potential opportunity for a permanent role after a successful internship.

Key responsibilities:

You will be fully trained within a supportive and nurturing team to achieve the below:

·Ensuring that required prerequisites (e.g. design inputs, tools, documentation, deliverables, schedule, budget) are in place prior to commencing work

·Producing part(s) of detailed design specifications under supervision

·Executing technical work and test work assignment to appropriate standards and quality systems

·Executing documentation work assignments to appropriate standards and quality systems.

·Proactively recommending potential quality and efficiency improvements within the engineering group

·Reporting progress and technical problems and/or changes to project lead engineer or principal engineer

Key skills and qualifications:

·A masters degree holder in engineering or similar, having graduated from this in 2024

·Working knowledge of standard MS Office tools

·Business level written and verbal Finnish and the ability to effectively communicate in English
