THIS POSITION REPORTS TO

Senior Engineering Manager

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects. You will be mainly accountable for: • As a member of the QCS project team, cooperate with the QCS system design, selecting proper hardware and software (for pulp and paper industry) • QCS project site installation work of control system, scanners, sensors, actuators and auxiliaries • QCS project site commissioning work, including hardware calibration and control system tuning • Problems solving during project implementation, customer support and related field service • Write project documentations and technical documentations • The responsibilities also include project planning, scheduling, resourcing, cost saving • Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your project teams and the business • Cooperation with sales and project management

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

• Technical Education, graduate/undergraduate and major in Engineering with subject of Measurement and Control Technology and Instrument or other relevant Industrial Engineering fields, Familiar with • QCS/DCS/PLC SYSTEM (preferred)
• Experience with industrial automation system and instruments, pulp and paper industry preferred
• Ability of fast learning
• Work to compressive strength and willing to accept the challenge
• Willing to travel frequently on business work and tolerant to the site poor environment
• Fluent in oral and written English
• Overtime working if required
• Open Mind and cooperation spirit
• Good communication skill and like to listen from others
