If you are a Project Engineering professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an opening for you! We are looking for a Project Engineer to be the Domain Expert or SME for Marine Valves (Butterfly, Ball, Globe Valves).

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Evaluating/Sourcing for Marine Valves for compliance to bidding/project specific requirements.
• Secondary sourcing for mechanical / electrical / instrumentation components to meet project requirements.
• Prepare bidding proposal with project delivery aspects.
• Review Client Project Specifications in preparation for bid.
• Technical Clarification with vendors / factory / customer.

Who You Are:

You quickly and decisively take action in fast-changing, unpredictable situations. You always keep the end in sight; puts in extra effort to meet targets. You adapt quickly to changing resource requirements.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Minimum 5 to 7 years of working experience in marine / offshore industry.
• Strong technical understanding of valves (butterfly, ball, globe valves) technical standard (international), regulations and project specifications
• Working experience in implementing projects with Valve bidding / sourcing/engineering
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills, able to interact with all levels and customer focus.
• Able to multi-task and prioritize different projects at the same time.
• Good computer/digital skills.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Degree/Diploma or equivalent in Engineering related field
