JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The O&M engineer reports to the Plant Manager. He will be responsible for tracking targets derived from contractual, technical and commercial obligations for the O&M – and the CSA contract. Responsible to support the Maintenance Manager with Outage planning across the whole Power Plant including the Centre line. The O&M Engineer is accountable for the coordination between operation and maintenance. Promote a proactive culture and a safe work environment. Acting as Deputy to Power Plant Manager.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Ensure that the Power Station operates to its optimum potential within given constraints.
• Synchronizing Customer and Contract events / demand with internal functions such as Field Core, Sourcing and Engineering
• Order hot gas parts and track repairs and refurbishemnt of parts.
• Support the Miantenance Manager in the execution of the CSA contract.
• Identifies and initiates corrective and preventive actions as appropriate with the assistance of other staff members.
• Outage planning including material and resources for the Centre Line.
• Establish and maintain good relations with the Customer / Site Owner and other parties, including representatives of the local community where applicable.
• Coordinate with other GE Gas Power elements (Turbine Service, Engineering teams, Sales, O&M) to ensure optimum results during daily operation / outages for the Power Station.
Required Qualifications
• This role requires advanced experience in execution of CSA and O&M contracts
• Parts, Repairs and Service offerings and fulfilment
• Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
• Experience with operation of Combined Cycle Power Plants
• Equipment operations/maintenance/overhaul/upgrade requirements and recommendations
• Experience with maintenance of Industrial Gas Turbines, Generators and Steam Turbines is preferable.
• Experience in Outage Planning and Quality Control on Field Service task.
• Familiar with technical drawings ( P&ID’s , assembly and fabrications drawing, electrical schematics
• Experience with writing technical reports
