Job Description

Join us to lead the design and implementation of industrial network solutions, using your expertise in automation, advanced technologies, and global standards to bridge manufacturing and business strategies, solve complex challenges, and make a meaningful impact in a dynamic, global environment.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, implement, and support customers’ converged business and Manufacturing/industrial networks with their overall business strategies.
• Write detailed documentation, including customer requirements, system specifications, observed issues, remediation recommendations, or implementation plans to develop manufacturing infrastructure.
• Design, recommend, and implement network infrastructure and associated configuration changes.
• Develop solutions in virtual environments.
• Design secure manufacturing architectures while providing vision, problem anticipation, for customers.
• Work with PLC, Networking, and SCADA design/programming, including data extraction and analysis.
• Diagnose automation problems and collaborate with teams, clients, and vendors.

THE ESSENTIALS – YOU WILL HAVE

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technology-driven degree. If no degree: 8+ years of experience in Manufacturing Control Systems, Network Engineering, and Industrial Security Controls.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience configuring IT/OT network infrastructure equipment (e.g., Cisco Switches, Virtual Server Environments, Cisco ASA, Anti-Virus Software).
• In-depth understanding of Ethernet/IP and CIP protocols.
• Familiarity with manufacturing and enterprise network convergence, network protocols, communication optimization, and system performance.
• Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally (25%-80%).
• Legal authorization to work in the country of job posting.
• Work as part of a large, diverse team completing full project lifecycle implementations.

THE PREFERRED – YOU MIGHT ALSO HAVE

• Hands-on experience designing and deploying network infrastructure in environments like process automation, discrete controls, and automated manufacturing processes/equipment. Experience with industrial network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls).
• Exposure to PLC programming packages (e.g., Rockwell or comparable platforms). Understanding of standards such as NIST 800-82, NERC-CIP, IEC-62443.
• Technical expertise in several Ethernet protocols, including EtherNet/IP, with a focus on assessment, design, and implementation of complex systems.
• Familiarity with networking and security concepts and procedures, including human exploitation techniques on manufacturing networks.
• Commercial skills
