If you are a Manufacturing Engineer professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Shakopee, MN location, you will work on an engineering team which provides support and development of final assembly processes. This manufacturing engineering role will launch new products, provide engineering support, develop and improve processes, plus work on short or long duration engineering projects. This individual will also work closely with other functional groups and world area sites with a focus on driving innovative solutions to better serve our internal and external customers.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
• Design and/or develop manufacturing processes and techniques and help solve manufacturing problems. Recommend design changes to reduce costs, improve quality and increase product performance.
• Lead discrepant material reviews.
• Interact on a regular basis with other internal groups and customers or vendors on technical and/or administrative matters.
• Develop and coordinate equipment requirements for assigned projects.
• Develop procedures including process flows and work instructions.
• Prepare detailed plans, generally spanning several months, necessary to complete assigned projects.
• Use tools and skills to effectively initiate, plan, implement, monitor and control, and drive a project to successful conclusion.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science from an engineering school
• Zero (0) or more years of relevant experience
• Legal Authorization to work in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided for this role
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
• ABET-accredited engineering degree
• Mechanical or Industrial and Systems Engineering degree
• Previous manufacturing experience
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing
• Ability to travel up to 10% to support Global Distribution Network
