Engineering associated with the manufacturing process. Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results.

The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.).

JOB DESCRIPTION

Roles and Responsibilities

• Define and control production process including tooling and equipment.
• Leads improvement projects for Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.
• Responsible for the output for assigned lean line(s)
• Has knowledge of best practices and acts as a coach to other MEs
• Problem solving production issues and improving production processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university / collegeORa high School diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in manufacturing

Eligibility Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future
• 100% onsite work at GE Greenville, SC

Desired Characteristics

• Experience with mills / grinders
• Experience in CNC Machining and Programming
• Experience with (EDM)Electrical Discharge Machining:Wire (wEDM) and Sinker (sEDM)
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
• Experience in LEAN manufacturing
• Established project management skills

Pay Transparency

The starting base pay range for this positionis $90,400-115,000.The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 10% performance bonus/variable incentivecompensation/equity.​This posting is expected to close on September 3,2024, or thereafter.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
