This Position reports to:

Testing Team Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to conduct testing and verification activities for assignments of systems, subsystems, or products effectively and cost-efficiently. Each day, you will provide technical support during the installation of test objects in the test area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing project test documentation.

The work model for the role is onsite in Aleksandrów Łódzki.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Executing testing according to schedule,
• Making risk assessments to assure safe and cybersecure systems of work and taking appropriate actions,
• Ensuring all applicable requirements, maintains test reports and certificates that prove compliance with required and applicable standards, market, or regulatory requirements in line with customer specifications, legal, or ABB internal requirements
• Maintaining a network of engineering professionals and sharing best practices across different projects.

Qualifications for the role
• Higher technical education,
• Minimum 2 years of experience in: conductingtests/research/measurements,conducting commissioning and work at electrical devices,
• Knowledge of issues in the field of: energy, automation, power electronics and electronics,
• SEP E+D permissions,
• Ability to work with technical documentation and ability to read electrical diagrams,
• Proficient knowledge of measuring devices,
• Knowledge of English,
• Highly developed analytical skills and the ability to find the causes of problems Independence and good work organization,
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office,
• Knowledge of issues related to the construction and operation of medium voltage inverters will be an additional advantage.
