We are currently looking for a new team member –Junior Systems Engineer- to become part of the Aerospace division, Sensing, Guidance & Navigation group in Brno. Our team is focused on commercial Alternative Navigation means, Inertial Navigation products and direct support of EMEA customers. This is a hybrid role, 3 days in office, 2 from home.

Key responsibilities:
• Design development of aviation systems for the aircraft/UAVs, including requirements definition
• Design and development of analysis and automated tests to ensure validity and to verify functionality against system and software requirements
• Maintenance requirements definition, design and analysis of software monitors used to determine fault reporting, fault isolation, and fault consolidation of the Computers/Control Modules and various subsystems
• Determination of an optimal design that meets customer requirements and is also scalable and portable to the greatest extent possible to other, future platforms
• Support of upgrades of current portfolio, come up with innovative solutions to hot issues, and support of flight testing of the developed solutions
Key Experience & Capabilities:
• University degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mechatronics
• Experience with requirements management (DOORS, e.g.)
• Excellent command of English language (B2 level as minimum)
• Knowledge of system/software development processes (DO-178, UAV regulations)
• Willingness to learn and develop your knowledge with strong organizational skills and analytical ability

We Value
• Knowledge of Embedded/Navigation systems is highly desired
• Previous professional experience with aerospace system/software design and development
• Experience with object-oriented computer language (C++ or otherwise) and script languages (Perl, Python)
• Knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink
• Knowledge of system/software development processes (DO-178)
