Job Description
Fiix was acquired by Rockwell Automation in December 2020. Our relationship with Rockwell gives us access to more resources, connections and expertise in the industrial automation space while maintaining our individuality and creative freedom as a high-growth SaaS company. This acquisition allows Fiix to offer the best of both worlds to our employees.
As an Integrations specialist you will develop integration processes using the Boomi platform. You will focus on connecting several applications, data sources and systems to facilitate seamless data flow and operational efficiency. The Integration Specialist collaborates with team members to understand integration requirements, build integration workflows, and troubleshoot issues.
You will report to Manager- Integrations and will work from Toronto, Ontario
Major Responsibilities:
• Develop boomi integrations based on established best practices and the functional design document.
• Review customer data to ensure that it aligns with discussions during design.
• Identify and communicate new requirements that arise as part of the development process to project manager / solution architect.
• Deploy integrations to test and production environment.
• Create and maintain mapping specifications for all process flows.
• Establish and documents validation steps / logging that will be included in the integration design.
• Establish and document the integration expansion options available within scope.
• Create test plans and test cases that outline strategies and scenarios to ensure that the integration works as intended.
The Essentials- You will have
• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field.
• Legal authorization to work in the Canada is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
The Preferred- You may also have
• This role requires a minimum of 5 years experience
• Provide level 3 support for any errors escalated by the application consultant.
• Address issues and optimize performance as needed.
• Maintain project documentation for any changes that are completed at this stage.
• Identify and escalate change requests to pre-sales integration consultant or solution architect as per the requirements.
• Develop, maintain and document generic processes that involve the Fiix connector.
• Establish / review best practices for boomi integrations.
• Collaborate with pre-sales integration consultant to provide the functionalities and limits of standardized packaged integrations.
• Document mapping specifications, features and limits for standardized, packaged integrations.
