JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilledInstrument Technicianto carry out both routine and non-routine maintenance of process control instrumentation, ensuring equipment remains safe, functional, and compliant. This hands-on role involves both preventative and reactive maintenance across a range of plant instrumentation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform scheduled maintenance checks and ensure all activities are accurately recorded.
• Diagnose and repair faults on instrumentation and control systems during non-routine maintenance.
• Conduct routine servicing on equipment such as transmitters, controllers, and analysers.
• Support and perform vendor-specified maintenance activities when required.
• Ensure that all site services are maintained safely and in proper working condition.
• Respond to emergency call-outs and provide technical support outside normal hours, where available.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards to ensure a clean, hazard-free working environment.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• 4–5 years of experience in instrumentation or electrical maintenance within a relevant industrial setting.
• Relevant instrument qualification – e.g. recognised apprenticeship orNVQ Level 3in Instrumentation.
• Solid understanding of both instrumentation and basic electrical systems.
• Must be eligible to work in the UK.
