ABOUT THE POSITION
INTECH Automation Intelligence is seekingInstrument Technicianto join our dynamic team. he ideal candidate must have expertise in maintaining and repairing critical process control and safety equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM), precise calibration, and effective troubleshooting of:
• Control Valves
• Emergency Shutdown Valves (ESDV)
• Blowdown Valves (BDV)
• All types of Switches (e.g., limit, pressure, temperature, flow)
• Valve Accessories (Solenoid Valves – SOV, pneumatic devices, and associated tubing)
• Smart Positioners (utilizing HART and Trex communicators for calibration and diagnostics)
• Fire & Gas (F&G) Systems (including detectors, logic solvers, and final elements) All types of Transmitters (Pressure, Temperature, Flow, and Level)
REQUIREMENTS
To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:
• Diploma in Electronics, Electrical or relevant.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar discipline role.
• Literate for discipline related standards
• Experience and technical understanding of instruments, maintenance, and operation of equipment in oil & gas processing facilities.
• Knowledge of governing codes, industry standards and local regulations relevant to the discipline engineering, and proven ability in practical application of engineering standards and practices.
• A proven record of accomplishment in risk management, process safety management and contractor performance management
• Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels in the field and office.
• Proven record of accomplishment in delivering results under pressure.
• The ideal candidate will be capable of ensuring the accurate and reliable operation of these essential instruments and safety systems.
• Prior experience working on FPSO vessels is highly advantageous.
