Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR PROJECT ACTIVITIES:Input the required design data into instrument index as per the defined structure and format.Design and layout of instrumentation system.Prepare cable schedules.Prepare loop diagram.Prepare junction box termination drawing.Prepare electrical power supply system for field instruments.Cable tray routing drawings.3D Modelling for cable trays, junction boxes and panel.Prepare instrument installation hook-up drawings.Preparation of MTO’s.Preparation of specifications for electrical & instrument interface, piping & instrument interface,Prepare material requisitions for bulk materials and technical evaluations.Review suppliers’ documents.Review piping isometric drawings for instrument connections and installations.Site checking and verification.Preparation of specification for instrument installation and test procedures.Preparation of subcontractor requisition for instrument installation work.Construction supervision, loop testing and commissioning supportRESPONSIBILITIES FOR NON-PROJECT RELATED WORK:Assist when required in preparation of proposals and in presentations to prospective clients.Carry out technical investigations, produce technical reports as and when required.
Qualifications
Qualifications:Diploma or equivalent technical school certificate, 3-5 years of experience as an Instrument Designer in Refinery/Petrochemical/Chemical/Power Plants3D modelling design experience strongly encouraged.Familiar and hands on experience with design and drafting tools like INtools, Microstation, Autocad, Microsoft Word & Excel. etc.Personal Attributes:Enjoys being involved in the practical application of complex theoretical principles.Self-motivated and completes given tasks to enhance the overall team performance.Prepared to take on new tasks and learn new technical subjects / skills.Continuously develops own knowledge and abilities. Good at problem-solving, logical and methodical Strong attention to detail Good communicator
