These will be contract-based roles, supporting key commissioning phases on a range of major projects.

The Role:

You will be required to deliver a high quality, consistent and competent instrument technician commissioning service in accordance with project / company requirements, standards and procedures 
Support overall delivery of company goals and schedule 
Ensure all that all workscope is completed in a safe manner ensuring no detrimental impact to personnel, fabric or environment
Perform all required discipline tasks, safely, consistently and in accordance with project requirements, procedures and specifications

Responsibilities

Read, understand and implement all applicable project policies, working practices and procedures, ensuring at all times that the instrumentation team’s work scope is completed safely and to a high standardComplete all work scope in accordance with applicable work pack / job card instructions, associated procedures and drawings / sketchesProvide support to other departments where required, or form part of an integrated multi-discipline teamRaise applicable Permit to Work (PTW) in order to complete work scope in a controlled and safe mannerUndertake appropriate Risk Assessments (RA) in order to complete workscope in a safe and controlled mannerProvide support in the execution of instrument construction activities within the bounds of Discipline competency

Qualifications

What makes you remarkable?Expected:4 Year Instrumentation and Control Apprenticeship or Level 2 NVQ equivalentCity and Guilds (C&G), or equivalent, in an appropriate instrumentation and control subject and / or NVQ Level 3 in related tradeBOSIET / MIST / CA- EBS / Shoulder Measurements / OGUK MedicalISSOWCompEx modules EX01 – EX04Company mandatory training, induction, risk awareness etcIEE 16th EditionECITB TSBT02Desirable:ONC (or equivalent) in Measurement and Control Engineering an advantage
