The Role: Inside Sales Engineer

What will you do?

•TrackandworkwithCustomerOrderswithinBusinessSystem

•Responsiblefor Ordermanagement, OrderEntry andExpedites

•Followsteam’sdefinedprocessandproceduresandcompanypolicies

•Ensuresthatrequiredinformationisloggedintocentralinformationsystempertainingtocustomerinformationandrequest

Providesaccuratesolution/assistancetocustomersonatimelymanner

•Ensurescompletenessofrequiredparametersfororderentry.

•Replytocustomersaskingfortheirorderstatusandexpedite

•Regularlyupdatesselfonproductandprocessdevelopments

•Escalateoutofhisboundaryissuestomanager

•Provideandgenerateindividualandteamreports

•Reportstomanagerofpossibleareasforimprovement

•Ensuresthatordersareenteredaccurately

•Clarifyorverifyorderdetailstocustomersorfieldsalesengineers

•Followstheorderentryprocessset

•Anticipatesandforeseesorderentryrequirementsofcustomersbasedonpurchaseorderdetails

•AdherestoServiceLevelAgreementsetbythedepartment,ifnotexceeds

•Accurately createor generate the neededquotation

•Provideaccuratepricingdetails

•Provideaccuratecatalognumber andaccessorydetails

•Providenecessarynotesforexemptionsorconditions

•Readandunderstandspecificationdocumentsoronelinedrawingsprovidedbythecustomer

•Providecompletesubmittalproposaltocustomer

•Ensuresthatcorrectdrawingswillbeprovidedtothecustomer

•CoordinatecloselywithFieldSalesEngineersregardingorderorjobupdates

•Monitorordersenteredinthesystem

•Coordinatewith the plannertomake surethe order isscheduledbased ontherequested shipdate

•Coordinate with other department such as shipping, credit analyst, application engineers, and customer service toassurethatorderwillbe scheduled or expedited as per customer request

•Submitsreportslikequotelogs,expeditereport asperDistrictofficerequest

•Otherdutiesandresponsibilitiesthatmaybeassignedfromtimetotime

Qualifications

Who would be successful?

·Candidate mustpossess at leasta Bachelor’s/College Degree inEngineering preferablyECE, EE, ME or related

·OrderEntry &quotationexposure

·Customer Service,OrderManagement

·SpecificKnowledge/Ability:

Hasworkexperience orrelated experiencein acustomer serviceenvironment

·Knowledgeableinonelinediagram&specsreading

·Organizational skills required for carryingout his/herdailyduties particularly intermsof time and priorities

·Closeattention to detail,follow-up, extreme senseof urgencyandperseverance

·Knowledgeof computersystems andexperience indataentry

·ProficientinwrittenandoralcommunicationcapabilitiesusingUSEnglish

·Up-to-dateknowledgeoftheOrderManagementandExpediteSystem
