Future IT Leaders Intern – IT Engineer- Brno

We have a great opportunity for aFuture IT Leaders Intern – IT Engineerbased in Brno to join our Honeywell Global IT HUB in Brno, Czech Republic!

This is role working schedule is for 20h/week as an average.

As an intern you will have opportunity to work within and support our Enterprise Data Centre and Network (DCN) tower which designs, implements, and operates a state-of-the-art Information Systems Infrastructure serving around 110,000 employees, in over 700 locations across 65 plus countries. You will be involved with the latest technology in the segment, which would allow you to significantly grow your technical skills and experience being part of a global organization.

This role is part of ourUniversity Relationsprogram, designed to help students and recent graduates launch their careers with hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for growth within Honeywell.

Key responsibilities:

• You will be working within the international environment
• Meet with decision makers, system owners, and end-users to define business requirements
• Conduct research on software products and solutions to make quality IT recommendations
• Participate in design sessions, and prototyping solutions for enhancing IT business processes

Key Requirements:

• You are a student of bachelor’s or master’s degree in Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science/ Analytics, Statistics User Experience Design, or a similar field of study.
• Communicative knowledge of English B2
• Willingness to learn and further your education
• Open-minded and creative, with passion for using, developing, analyzing, and learning about new technologies
• Foundational business acumen and desire to improve your business knowledge

We Value:

• Experience/interest in operating system management, automation, cloud automation, storage, and backup infrastructure (Windows, VMWARE, Linux, Nasuni, Rubrik, Chef, Tanium, Azure & AWS & Google Cloud, hyperscalers)
• GitHub proficiency or interest in learning the tool
• Participation in Cisco Academy welcomed
• Multicloud provisioning (i.e. Morpheus Data) experience
• Knowledge of SNOW (Service Now) welcomed
• ITSM processes knowledge/interest is welcomed
• Understanding of Agile, Waterfall project management knowledge is welcomed
