Job Description:
On-Site Service Technician
This position is responsible for leading the on-site team & activities related to the finishing equipmentat a customer facility located inJamestown, NC.
This individual will be required to:
• Perform routine and/or emergency breakdownmechanical/electricalservice;
• Provide training of customer operations & maintenance personnel; and,
• Focus on the safe operation of the products and an emphasis on establishing zero-energy state during maintenance.
• Holiday and weekend work is routine for a Field Service Technician.
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
• Formal training from an accredited technical school is preferred.
• Experience in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Exceptional communication skills are a plus, both spoken and written.
• Requires substantial lifting, climbing, twisting, kneeling, etc.
Essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to:
• Lead local support staff.
• Maintain communication of equipment status, needs, and goals with customer & BWP teams.
• Maintain production and up-time goals while keeping costs low.
• Daily, weekly, and special project scheduling of resources and requirements to properly maintain machine performance.
• Assure proper and timely responses to customer issues.
• Inventory management and responsible use of all BWP supplies to maintain equipment.
• Support sales demonstrations as needed.
Location:
This position is located in Jamestown, NC. Candidates will be required to live within a50-mile radiusof the customer facility for this role.
The approximate pay range for this position is $85,000-$110,000 annually. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
