Field Service Manager

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

ABB’s Motion business is the world’s largest supplier of drives and motors. We provide our customers with a complete range of electric motors, generators, drives and services, as well as mechanical power transmission products and integrated digital solutions for powertrains. Our solutions fit a multi-tude of automation applications in the transportation, infrastructure, assembly and process industries. The working model for this position is as follows: LinkedIn #hybrid You will be responsible for providing various services to customers, on variable speed drives – Missions in France and occasionally abroad. Main activities: – Provide technical telephone support – Commission products and/or systems on customer premises – Carry out expert appraisals and preventive maintenance operations – Carry out corrective maintenance – Write service reports – Ensure on-call customer service as part of service contracts – Promote the Service offer during customer interventions – Comply with the Quality, Safety, Health and Environment policy, and take part in improvement actions – Regularly transmit information for the administrative follow-up of files. You’ll be joining a young, high-performance team where you can flourish.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

• – At least 2 years’ higher education or an electrical engineering degree,
• – At least 2 years’ experience in customer service,
• – English read, written and spoken,
• – Autonomy, availability, rigor, mobility, responsiveness, good customer relations,
• – No obstacles to travel (70%),
• – Strong awareness of Health, Safety and Environment rules: HSE is everybody’s business.
