Job Description:
Join our dynamic team of Field Service Technicians, who are at the forefront of delivering world-class installation, maintenance, and technical support for our cutting-edge equipment. This role offers the opportunity to work independently and collaboratively, ensuring our customers’ equipment operates at peak performance. Travel is a key component of the role, with 60-75% of time spent at customer sites across the US, Canada, and Mexico. We have a strong preference for candidates within the Brooklyn Park, MN area with electro-mechanical experience and PLC expertise. However, we are also open to candidates within the United States who have hands-on experience with Converting Equipment for Shrink Sleeve Labels & Flexible Packaging or Pressure Sensitive Labeling Machines.
Key Responsibilities
• Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues on converting and labeling equipment to minimize downtime and maximize customer satisfaction.
• Installation & Training: Lead the installation, startup, and testing of new equipment, and provide training to customer personnel on operation and maintenance.
• Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through effective communication and support.
• Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with internal teams to enhance service delivery and identify opportunities for product and process improvements.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Candidates in Brooklyn Park, MN are strongly preferred.
• A two-year technical degree in electro-mechanical technology or at least 7 years of equivalent experience.
• Proven expertise with PLC programming (preferably Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens S7 PLCs).
• Experience with Converting Equipment for Shrink Sleeve Labels & Flexible Packaging or Pressure Sensitive Labeling Machines is required for non-local candidates.
Technical Skills:
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and control systems.
• Proficiency in VFD functions, operations, and programming.
• Ability to interpret and troubleshoot electrical and pneumatic schematics.
• Hands-on experience with wiring, I/O checks, and general equipment calibration.
• Robotics experience is a plus.
Travel Flexibility:
• Ability to travel up to 50-75% of the time, including international travel.

The approximate pay range for this position is$80,000–$100,000 annually. Please note that the pay range is a good faith estimate at the time of posting and may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, and geographic location.
