Job Description:
Our team of Field Service Technicians is dedicated to providing exceptional support and service to our customers worldwide. Working both independently and collaboratively, our technicians ensure the successful installation, maintenance, and optimization of equipment at customer sites. This position requires frequent travel, estimated between 60-75% of the time. We are seeking skilled Field Service Technicians who are passionate about delivering high-quality customer service and are adept at finding innovative technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues on equipment at customer sites, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Assist in the installation, startup, and testing of new equipment, providing guidance to customer personnel on proper operation and maintenance practices.
• Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and diplomacy.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery.
Minimum Qualifications:
• A two-year post-high school diploma/certificate in electro-mechanical technology, or equivalent experience (minimum of 7 years).
• Proficiency in mechanical, pneumatic, and control systems, with a solid understanding of material handling practices.
• Strong interpersonal and customer relations skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in PLC programming, preferably with Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens S7 PLCs.
• Advanced knowledge of VFD functions, operations, and programming.
• Proficiency in interpreting and troubleshooting pneumatic and electrical schematics.
• Ability to troubleshoot wiring and complete I/O checks.
• Robotics experience is advantageous.
