National Field Service Manager – Motors

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will execute testing, diagnostic and service work on large scale rotating electrical machines with low to medium complexity according to work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines. Deliver quality customer service to satisfy customers. In close co-operation with customer and other ABB teams, take actions to identify new service business opportunities for ABB. The work model for the role is: Onsite You will be mainly accountable for: • Safety and Environmental Compliance: Applies safety rules, practices, and environmental responsibilities; reports unsafe practices and incidents. • Customer Focus: Enhances customer satisfaction by planning and executing service work, ensuring superior customer experiences, and identifying improvement opportunities on-site. • Service Delivery: Performs field service tasks, identifies and analyzes technical problems, and coaches associate technicians and engineers. • Materials and Supply Management: Prepares material lists for service activities, ensuring availability and quality of materials, parts, and equipment. • Documentation and Reporting: Prepares and signs customer documents and reports and ensures timely reporting and follow-up of work done. • Troubleshooting and Service Excellence: Troubleshoots equipment/process failures, recommends corrective actions, and proactively plans and executes work to ensure quality and timely completion. Provides technical guidance and training to associates and customers.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

• Valid Electrical Fitter License
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience within the industry
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Skilled in using essential Microsoft Office applications
