We are looking for aField Service Engineer, based in our office in Ede, Netherlandswho will be responsible to improve customer satisfaction, business results and profitability by delivering optimized and efficient Marine solution services around the globe.

Using your expertise, you will be passionate about delivering efficient service performance at the customers’ site (mainly Marine and offshore) with a strong focus on coordination, preparation, execution, and reporting of at least the following services.

Working with the Manager Technical Service, you will have the opportunity to develop your technical and engineering skills, whilst travelling (globally) and working in a phenomenal team.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Perform Marine fuel consumption & bunkering related service activities as pre-surveys, surveys, desk-preparation, startups of Marine fuel consumption & Bunkering flow instruments & applications
• Perform technical evaluations as part of all Marine fuel consumption & bunkering related service activities
• Solve instrument related malfunctions and commission new instruments / Sea-trials worldwide (Shipyards)
• Perform FAT tests, inspections, quality verification and preventive maintenance
• Coordinate and perform field device modifications – Instruction of operating principles
• Participate in Call-out service (including performing service activities at irregular hours)
• MID verification and re-verification services & consultancy (training to achieve certification provided)
• Perform additional services from portfolio
• Report in a clear and proper way all aspects of the service visit using the appropriate tools and software
• Maintain an optimal customer and/or colleague focused relationship

Who You Are:

You serve as a strategic partner to build, grow, and maintain profitable and long-lasting relationships with key accounts. You evaluate pros and cons, risks and benefits of different solution options. You quickly and decisively take actions in fact-changing, unexpected situations. You anticipate issues before they happen, based on knowledge of interpersonal and group dynamics.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant technical field (e.g. instrumentation, process technology)
• 3+ years of working in a similar role
• General safety training (VCA), Electrical safety training NEN-EN50110 (equal to NEN3140) represents an advantage
• Proficient English language skills; verbal, reading and writing. Additional European languages useful, Dutch is a plus
• Ability to travel frequently as and when required (regionally and internationally), including at short notice and at irregular hours (minimum 90 travel days/year)

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Experience in the Marine field represents an advantage
• Good communication skills with proven track in working in an exciting environment
