As anIndustrial Automation Field Service Engineerhere at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to provide advanced technical facilitation and expertise to our customers in the Industrial Automation (IA) business unit. You will be accountable for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, ensuring the successful implementation of our solutions, and driving customer satisfaction. Your expertise and dedication to excellence will play a crucial role in the success of our field service operations and the growth of our business.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency, productivity, and safety of our customers’ operations by providing exceptional technical facilitation and service.

You will report directly to our Field Service Manager, and you’ll work out of our Houston, TX location on a hybrid work schedule. Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F. Relocation support may be provided.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues for our customers
• Provide advanced technical facilitation and expertise for our IA solutions
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of our solutions
• Conduct training sessions for customers and field service engineers
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, and provide recommendations for improvement
• Providing Technical support (onsite work/break fix, electronic troubleshooting/repair, install migration, process migration, software upgrades, training system configuration, design control, etc)
• Travel: up to 20% (US)
• Company vehicle provided to travel to customer sites

Must Have

• 1 year of professional experience in an engineering or technical field/and or Military experience in electronics programs may be considered equivalent to this typical qualification.
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to walk and stand 8 hours per day.
• 1 year of experience using Basic Windows OS and Microsoft Office applications
• Be able to perform frequent climbing, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, and grasping.

*Engineering or technical fields may include field service, technical operations, industrial maintenance, process automation, heavy manufacturing, prior military experience, development and/or reliability engineering, etc.
