Service Sales Manager
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the Service portfolio is delivered effectively according to ABB standard processes and safety guidelines to satisfy customers. Executing technical support, act as specialist and solve problems in own expertise area. Reporting to Service Team Manager, proactively communicating both with the customer and ABB sales teams to ensure customer needs are understood and business opportunities utilized for Service growth. The work model for the role is: #LI-onsite, #LI-hybrid This role is contributing to the Motion Service Business in Malaysia and is based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. You will be mainly accountable for: • Providing technical support and solving problems in own expertise area via remote or on-site service in any Service category (installation, commissioning, maintenance, repairs, advanced services, extensions, upgrades, and retrofits, end of life services, replacements, etc.) Investigating customer needs through professional consulting. • Providing technical consulting on Service solutions to management and customers. Determining effective Service applications, equipment, and methods to develop, market or manufacture new service offerings to respond to customer requirements cost effectively. Managing customer relationships and maintains regular contacts with key customers. • Identifying new sales opportunities, proactively communicating both with the customer and ABB sales teams to ensure customer needs are understood and business opportunities utilized for Service growth. Coordinating and performing specialist service projects in relevant areas internally and externally (e.g., create milestones, project plan, cost supervision, action steps, project reviews, project supervision) including all commercials. • Preparing all documents and reports to be signed by the customer representative. Reporting work done in a timely manner and following up when needed. Proactively identifying suggestions for product and quality improvement and communicating them further in the ABB organization. • Providing recommendations to management to improve operations and customer service. Providing technical specialist leadership and coordination for the Service team. Planning activities in a timely and cost-effective way. • Coordinating the work of internal and external technicians and assigns them specific tasks related to service needs. • Applying safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities. Reporting unsafe practices and incidents.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with minimum 2 to 5 years of working experience in motor and generator.
• Possess own transport.
• Able to work independently locally, oversea (Onshore and offshore).
• Good knowledge in computer skills especially Microsoft Office Able to advise and support customer on technical problem solving. Added experience in project management is a plus.
• Fresh graduates are encourage to apply subject to Motors/internship experience.
