Field Service Manager

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a Field Service Engineer at ABB Oy, Motion Service, in Pitäjänmäki, Helsinki. From rapid response and performance improvement to operational efficiency and life-cycle management, Service is one of our fastest-growing areas. In this position, you would work in a team called Service Supply Unit Finland (SSU FI) which is responsible for after sales services globally for ABB motors and generators manufactured in Finland. Service Engineers are part of our Expert Services team and report to Field Service Manager. The work model for the role is: hybrid #Li-Hybrid You will be mainly accountable for: • Maintenance, inspections and repairs of electric motors and generators • Supporting project managers in the quotation and planning of the jobs • Performing jobs independently or in a small team at customer locations for various industries globally • Supporting other Service Supply Unit functions as required You will join a talented and dedicated team, where you will be able to thrive.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

• Ability to demonstrate your experience on commissioning/maintenance tasks of heavy industrial equipment is essential
• Possessing relevant practical work experience is essential
• It is relevant that you are passionate about customer service together with open-minded, practical and determined mindset
• You are a great team player and still able to work independently
• B.Sc. or vocational degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
• You are at ease communicating in English, written and spoken. Finnish skills are seen beneficial
• Readiness to travel constantly (appr. 150-200 days annually) and mostly abroad is essential
