RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain continuous production, process safety and quality performance; provide liaison on all relevant technical matters (support disciplines, certifying authorities & clients), coordinate Management of Change, to support on annual turnaround strategy with planning team, to support business plan development and strategical planning, lead downtime incidents review with technical and offshore team. Set scopes and responsibilities for problem solving, implementing quality management routine.
– Provide direction on technical matters to Shore Base operational line management
– Coordinates technical assistance to the Units as directed by asset integrity department strategy, and with direction of Unit Ops Manager.
– Assists the Offshore team in continuous technical performance review of the Unit(s) operations, and in cooperation with the Operations Engineer, control the corrective actions related with process control when deficiencies (quality, equipment efficiency…) through to the effective closeout of all outstanding actions.
– Liaises with the Technical Team experts for resolving technical issues. Participates to technical meetings with Clients as directed by the Unit Ops Manager.
– Operations Technical Assurance: Ensures the work is carried out in accordance to the company Management System (GEMS). Ensures the implementation of the Assets Integrity programs.
– Performs regular visits on board the FPSO Units to verify effective implementation of the relevant working instruction/working procedure and Assets Integrity plans. Suggest corrective actions where necessary.
– Management of change: Ensures the Management of Change (MOC) programs are being correctly implemented.
– Process trips and unscheduled production stops: Perform incidents technical review and takes part of the investigation team when applicable
– In house or subcontracted offshore repair Projects (process and equipment performance related): provides the relevant technical inputs to specific repair projects preparation.
– Regulation: provides liaison on all relevant discipline
– Audits: support and facilitate audit program. Follow up of the relevant actions in conjunction with the auditors.
– Budget: Assists in the development and control of the process and control budget for the FPSO , monitors the implementation and maintains / updates the strategies as necessary.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
– University degree in Chemical engineering
– 4+ years relevant experience in chemical Industry, experience in Oil and Gas industry or Offshore/FPSO operations will be a plus.
– General knowledge of Process Safety Management
– Must be autonomous, and with good team spirit
– Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken
– Ability to manage several activities in parallel, combined with flexibility and strong organization
