Emerson is seeking a Facilities Engineer to join our team! Based in our Chanhassen, MN location, you will provide engineering support to create and maintain a world class environment that supports our innovative products and technologies. • Drive Continuous Improvement:Apply continuous improvement with a focus on our physical facilities, space planning, and utilities.
• Space Planning and Design:Develop space plans and layouts for office and manufacturing spaces.
• Utility Management:Assess the capacity and health of building utilities to ensure reliable operations.
• Project Leadership:Lead assigned capital improvement projects from conception to completion.
• Vendor Management:Manage and coordinate with outside vendors to execute facility tasks.
• Safety and Compliance:Contribute in cross-functional groups to conduct safety investigations and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Technical Support:Partner with and provide technical support to the facilities trade staff

You provide timely and helpful information to individuals across the organization. You partner with others to get work done.For This Role, You Will Need:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science from an engineering school
• Minimum of two years of applicable experience in facilities engineering or other engineering role
• Ability to commute between our local twin cities locations (Chanhassen, Eden Prairie, and Shakopee)
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
• An ABET-accredited engineering degree is preferred
• Experience in basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
• Familiarity with CAD software
• Project management, maintenance management system, and/or building automation systems experience

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $83,000-$96,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
