JOB DESCRIPTION

For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $66,000 – $99,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. TheEngineeringTechnicianprovides support to theEngineers withdesigns, andcreates,tests,troubleshootsandmanufactures machinery, consumer products, and other equipment.

DutiesandResponsibilities

• Applies knowledge ofelectrical andmechanical engineering technology underdirectionof engineering and scientific staff.

• Responsible for data collection during product testingandvalidation.

• Software validation and debugassistanceforcontrolsteam.

• DrivesPrototype Builds under the direct supervision of Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical,andmanagement)

• Early Prototype Assembly

• Golden-Harness Electrical Builds

• Initial Bring-up

• Test Stand configurations (PSUs, Sensors, pumps, hoses, etc.) for early protos.


• Devises, fabricates, and assembles new ormodifiedelectrical andmechanical components or assemblies for products, such as industrial equipment and machinery, power equipment, servo systems, machine tools, and measuring instruments.

• Sets up and conducts tests of complete units and components under operational conditions to investigate design proposals for improving equipment performance or other factors, or to obtain data for development, standardization, and quality control.

• Analyzes indicated and calculated test results in relation to design or rated specifications and testobjectives, andmodifies or adjusts equipment to meet specifications.

• Records test procedures and results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations for changes in product or test method.

• May test and inspect machines and equipment in manufacturing departments or work with engineers toeliminateproduction problems.

• Assistsin product tests.

PositionQualifications

• High school diploma or equivalentrequired.

• Technical certificate / degreepreferred.

• 10+years of experienceofhands onexperiencewithassembling and testingelectro mechanicaldevicespreferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Must have gooddiagnosticandproblem-solving skills.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a teamwith minimal oversight.

• Attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong safety awareness.

• Proficiencywith MS Office 365 for creating tables, charts, anddata entry.

• Capable of working independently with minimal instruction

• Experience with electrical assemblies, power supplies, and related prototyping equipment (soldering, crimping tools, etc.)

• Experience with mechanical components (e.g.Hoses, Barbs, Clamps, Mechanical Assembly, etc.)

• Experience with Data Acquisition Unitspreferred

• Efficient and clear communication skills, both written and oral

Physical Requirements/Abilities (If necessary)

• Office environment working primarily at a desk on a computer.

• Ability to sit forlong periodsof time.

• May require minimal lifting of thirty pounds or less.

• May require navigating stairs and maneuvering through the plant environment for guided tours.

• Travel is required on a regular basis to perform this role.
