Embedded Engineer Intern

Support development of firmware for a variety of embedded products. You will support project and technical reports creations as required and help to define product architecture as needed. You will participate in schematic/layout review process and test and evaluate prototypes from initial engineering samples to mass production. You will help maintain firmware servers and develop tools for internal use, including scripts and basic hardware interfaces. Aid in the design and development of equipment and systems, and redesign of existing systems to fulfill the needs of Honeywell’s customers.

Creation of instructional technical manuscripts

Embedded software development experience, knowledge of RTOS, SoC

Create reports

Internal Support to Products functions related to firmware.

Good English language written and oral

Familiarity with computer languages C/C++.
Translating requirements/use cases into an embedded software/firmware design.
Academic experience working in embedded software architectures.
Solid communication in English and collaborative skills.
Knowledge of wireless technology.
Academic experience working on embedded software development.
Awareness of version control tools like Git or BitBucket.
Cyber Security awareness.
Academic experience developing software test plans and procedures for product qualification.
Understanding of algorithmic conceptualization and implementation.
Capability with engineering tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.
Proactive and dedicated, able to prioritize multiple tasks and changing priorities
Awareness of project management.
Awareness of debugging program crashes, memory leaks, thread deadlocks, etc.
