About the Role:

As an Electrician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful installation of electrical systems in accordance with local building codes & safety regulations. Your expertise will contribute to the overall process and quality of our projects. You will work with precision and technical expertise to ensure that all tasks are completed to the highest quality standards and safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Install, test, and maintain a variety of electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, power distribution, and control systems, while adhering to project plans and blueprints.
• Implement and maintain safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for yourself, colleagues, and other on-site personnel. Follow all established electrical codes, regulations, and guidelines to prevent accidents and hazards.
• Run conduit, wire, and cables to connect electrical systems and ensure the proper distribution of power. Install outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, identify the root causes of issues, and undertake effective repair & maintenance procedures to minimize downtime.
• Conduct thorough testing of electrical systems and components using specialized tools and equipment. Perform inspections to verify compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Collaborate with other team members, including engineers, QA/QC inspectors, and construction management team, to achieve project goals and timelines.
• Interpret engineering and detailed drawings, specifications and standards to complete tasks accurately.
• Stay up to date with local, state, and national electrical codes, regulations and industry best practices to ensure all work is compliant and of the highest quality.

About You:

Our ideal candidate will have a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or an internationally recognized equivalent, along with current electrical tickets. Experience in live brownfield environments such as oil refineries, petrochemical facilities, power stations, or LNG sites, as well as familiarity with LOTO and Permit to Work systems, will be considered advantageous.
