Wood is recruiting for an Electrical and Instrumentation BIM Specialist to join our E&IC Team within the Life Science division based in Milan, working on Pharmaceutical and Bio Tech projects across Europe and internationally. Responsibilities

Autonomously coordinate the 3D model design by Wood Execution Centers, providing these offices with technical support, ensuring their performance and monitoring their compliance with budget and schedule
Pay regular visits to the Execution Centers  
Carry out the 3D modeling in coordination with the other engineering disciplines
Be proactive and investigate innovative ways to use BIM in engineering, along with the other BIM experts
Design and draft electrical diagrams and lay-outs such as: power and low current, lighting, lightning, grounding and cable-trays
Prepare electrical and instrument hook-ups, Material Take-offs, Instrument & I/O Lists 

Qualifications

Having a High School Diploma or a Bachelor’s degree
Fluent in English (C1 is appreciated)
Speaking Italian as mother tongue
Experienced in BIM tools with demonstrated proficiency at Autodesk Revit, possibly in the Life Sciences industry
Experienced in Autocad and or Microstation for 2D drawings
Capable to work in team
Interested in the coordination of 3rd parties
Passionate about BIM technologies
Available to work on assignment either at Clients’ sites/offices or in other Wood offices 
Eligible to work in Italy
