Responsibilities
Generate design deliverables for the Wood US Life Sciences electrical engineering team.
Design and develop Single line diagrams, Schematics, Wiring diagrams etc.
Prepare electrical calculations and bills of material for electrical systems.
Interface and coordinate with other disciplines, Project Management and Clients.
Prepare Electrical Equipment Specifications, Data Sheets, Purchase Requisitions and Bid evaluations.
Assist in preparation of power system cost estimates and defining scopes of work for project design and study proposals.
Build internal and external relationships with key suppliers, customers and internal & external service providers or contractors.
Work with electrical engineers, technologists and designers to provide electrical design and deliverables to a variety of projects.

Qualifications
Prefer 3 to 6 years’ experience with design of Power Systems, preferably I the Pharmaceutical industry, however Heavy Industrial will be considered.
Proficiency in Revit required.
Experience with the Electrical System design, System Studies, Relay Coordination, Protection & Control
Knowledge of electrical engineering design tools such as lighting models and load calculations software etc.
Previous experience in Electrical design in the field of Consulting Engineering.
Familiarity with applicable codes, standards and regulations used in North American.
Flexible with the ability to work on and transition from multiple projects on any given day.
Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with clients and staff in a team environment.
Willing to travel to project sites as required for client engagement.
Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required.
