Fisher Digital Valve Controllers

AS AN ELECTRONICS DESIGN ENGINEER, YOU WILL:

• Work as on a multi-discipline team
• Design printed circuit board schematics, routing, and layouts
• Manage and expand PCB component library in Altium
• Create, modify, and maintain Altium templates, standards, and configurations
• Identify and drive process improvements
• Collaborate with peers in design reviews, engineering changes, and releases
• Develop and execute electronics test plans from circuit level to system validation, product safety, and robustness
• Modify and debug surface mountboards to support development.
• Refresh and modernize circuit designs to meet customer and industry needs
• Support prototype assemblies for cross-discipline testing

FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:

• B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or related level of experience plus certifications
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:

• PCB CAD experience with Altium or other tools
• A good understanding of electromagnetics and compliance requirements (EMC).
• 7-10+ years of relevant professional experience
• Experience designing products to meet hazardous location standards
• Good working knowledge of electronic test equipment including scopes, meters, signal generators, etc.
• Experience developing products with industrial protocols: HART, Foundation Fieldbus, Profibus, Industrial Ethernet
